Education for all

Education is something everyone has the right to. The now developed world does not have space for uneducated people. There are so many people who do not have a chance to be educated. Most of these people are either handicapped, poor or females. In many villages tons of females are trained to do household work and males are given the chance to be educated and expand their horizons. Females are confined to their homes and not allowed to express their perspective and viewpoint. The impact it has on girls is that their self esteem goes down and they start questioning their worth. Boys learn about the wrong things as the gender inequality is setting an example for them. Handicapped people are discriminated against and mostly not given a chance. Their parents either give up on them or they are just simply not given proper attention. When they grow up they are not only uneducated but also handicapped which gives them an unfair chance at life. Due to this pressure put on them, handicapped people are most likely to commit suicide. Most people with a disability have worked in the past, are currently working or want to work. While only 29 percent of our (working age) sample was currently in employment, 85 per cent had
worked at some point. In addition, nearly half of those are not currently in employment said they would be interested in working if the circumstances were right.
Poverty is another factor that prevents children from getting educated. Even though there are several free government schools in every vicinity, there are other costs that are hard to
pay for like the books, or clothes. They are poor in their childhood and they probably stay poor throughout their lifetime.
A few ways to help this situation is by spreading awareness about this issue. Another thing that you can try is going to NGOs (if you have time) and teaching a few children.
The government should build more schools or provide transports to the children.
Establishing access and equity scholarships for high potential students who struggle to afford or attend school will help tons of people.
